Voicescape a Social Housing Communication Tool, raises £9m from BGF

BGF, a venture capital firm, is putting in £9 million into Voicescape, a communication software provider based in Salford, Manchester.

Software that helps with communication is created by Voicescape for employees of social housing organizations and government entities.

The SaaS business's software has an AI caseload manager, which keeps an eye on a tenant's behaviour and risk level in order to automate their rent arrears handling procedure.

John Doyle, founder of Voicescape, noted that the solutions provided by his organisation have been aimed at helping organisations utilise technology to acquire a better understanding of the behaviour of their customers and enhance engagement on a larger scale, especially when presented with these strategic issues.

Established in 1998, Voicescape plans to utilise BGF's support in order to expand its product selection and build its caseload manager tool.

More than 50 organisations in the UK that are registered as social housing providers and local authorities are said to utilise the software provided by the company.

Mr. Mehta, an investor of BGF's North West branch, stated that Voicescape has already taken some purposeful strategic purchases to better its use of behavioural understanding and data science, which differentiates them from other software suppliers in its sector.

Gary Haynes has taken on the role of chief operations officer, as well as managing director. Both Mehta and Jill Williams, a BGF portfolio manager, have been included in the board of Voicescape.

Mehta noted that the technology which has been created in partnership with their customers is already bringing about changes in organisations thanks to Voicescape.
