Startup/ Scaleup Finalists Announced for RISE Awards

We are delighted to announce the finalists for the Responsible Investment, Sustainability, and ESG (RISE) Awards. These awards celebrate the pioneering organisations and innovators driving positive change across industries from clean technology and consumer products to healthcare and green transport.

The winners will be revealed following voting by our esteemed judging panel at a black-tie awards dinner on 6 November at London’s Grand Connaught Rooms, where leaders and changemakers from across the sustainability sector will come together to honour outstanding achievements in sustainable innovation.

In the Clean Tech category the finalists are:
HutanBio - create sustainable biofuels that align the world’s increasing energy demand with the imperative to protect the planet.
Opovate - a venture builder, creating and scaling sustainable materials companies to sustain the planet by turning waste into high-performance biodegradable materials.
Planet Smart - bio-based, home compostable super absorbent polymers which deliver the same high performance absorption without microplastics.
Verv Energy - a high-resolution predictive maintenance technology that detects anomalies in how air conditioning units or heat pumps are performing.
Polymateria - provides a tailored biodegradable solution for conventional plastic packaging, aiming to stem the global plastic pollution endemic.
Bamboo Connect - supply partner for the repair, refurbishment and recycling of mobile phones and accessories for the European insurance market.
Prism Power - a leading specialist in electrical switchgear, critical power systems and power monitoring solutions.
Recycle Roots -pioneering solutions optimised for carbon capture for Biomass waste streams.
In the Consumer Products category the finalists are:
Foreva Farmers - premium natural tonics and mixers. Made with farm-grown ingredients, renewable energy, and zero nasties.
Auraskin - eco-friendly cosmetics derived from upcycled coffee beans.
House of Willow Alexander - bringing sustainability into your home.
Xampla - plastic alternatives made from natural polymers.
Eco Green Living - create sustainable, eco-friendly, plastic-free alternatives that empower individuals, businesses and households to reduce waste.
Poppy Furniture - making furniture more sustainable through a rental model.
In the Sustainable Fashion category the finalists are:
Anatolian colors - producing toxic free natural dyes.
Brightland - minimalist plastic-free footwear made specifically for children.
Roarsome - children’s clothing built for adventure, play, and the planet.
LaundRe - redefining jeans with sustainable laser, ozone, and nebulising technology to reduce the harm caused by overproduction.
Arda Biomaterials - creating novel biomaterials that mimic the structure of animal proteins and replace the need for plastics.
In the Renewable Energy Category sponsored by Sustainable Wealth Group the finalists are:
Pure Energy UK (REGen) Ltd - sources and provides businesses with convenient, best-value green energy and sustainable technology solutions.
Solivus - provide lightweight solar solutions for large commercial building where conventional solar panels can’t be installed.
Naked Energy - decarbonising heat energy for industries with high demands.
Instollar - Africa’s solar energy workforce provider, supporting solar installation from start to finish.
In the Fintech category the finalists are:
ekko - helps financial services integrate sustainability into their products and experiences.
Maanch - helps investment teams streamline engagement and evidence outcomes.
C2Zero - allows companies and people to take Emission Allowances out of circulation.
In the Healthcare category the finalists are:
2cureX - develops medical products to support individualised and personalised treatment for cancer patients.
PreComb - predicts patient drug response in order to tailor cancer treatments.
Nurtify - specialise in cloud-based solutions for clinical research and trials.
In the Construction category the finalists are:
Thoth - a sustainability consultancy helping individuals and organisations integrate environmental responsibility into their infrastructure.
Mater-Ai - using AI to discover new thermoelectric materials with superior efficiency and no toxic elements.
Eco-Cistem - environmentally friendly toilet cistern that saves water and money.
In the Green Transport category the finalists are:
Carnot - develop engine technologies using efficient materials that reduce fuel consumption and decarbonise maritime and heavy-duty vehicles.
GT Wings - wind propulsion technology that cuts fuel, emissions, and cost.
Levistor - high-cycling energy storage systems built for high power, and energy reliability.
